The name Fairy Falls is associated with the legend of two beautiful and talented girls who taught the locals how to cultivate fields, build houses, perform traditional dances, play the flute, and many other cultural practices. After their passing, the locals named the two girls Nang Bang and Nang Muong. They also built a temple called Ba Chua Son Lam to show their respect.
